Sky Heroes: After-School Drone Program

Take flight and make a difference! Our Sky Heroes after-school drone program teaches kids the exciting world of drone technology while incorporating social responsibility. Through hands-on learning, kids will develop STEM skills, teamwork, and an understanding of how drones can be used for positive change in the community.

What Kids Will Learn & Do:

Basics of drone operation, safety, and coding
Real-world applications of drone technology in environmental and community service
Hands-on missions like mapping local parks, assisting in community cleanups, or delivering small care packages
Responsibility and ethics in drone usage

Program Details:

Ages: 10-16
Sessions: Weekly after school
Location: Keney Park Pond House
Equipment: Provided (or bring your own drone)

Through fun challenges and service-based projects, kids will see firsthand how technology can be used to help others. Whether capturing aerial photos for environmental awareness or assisting in local outreach efforts, Sky Heroes empowers young pilots to soar with purpose.
